Founded by Claude Moët, the house became one of Champagne’s greatest success stories. Moët & Chandon was among the first to bring Champagne beyond France, turning it from a regional rarity into a global symbol of celebration. Centuries of tradition, innovation, and craftsmanship have made Moët an international icon — from royal ceremonies to summer parties.
Global Reach, Steady Craft
With a presence in over 150 countries, Moët & Chandon leads the Champagne world not only in scale, but also in approach. All wines undergo extended aging on the lees — Brut Impérial rests for at least three years, while Grand Vintage ages even longer. Under the guidance of Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez, each cuvée balances technical precision with heritage, resulting in Champagnes that are mineral-driven, fresh, and approachable at any scale.
A Chilled Innovation: Moët Ice Impérial
In 2010, the house introduced a true breakthrough: Moët Ice Impérial — the first Champagne created specifically to be enjoyed over ice. This new category redefined Champagne service, blending demi-sec richness with fine bubbles, tropical fruit aromas, and refreshing hints of mint. Served over ice with fresh ingredients like strawberries, raspberries, or grapefruit slices, it delivers a cool, playful experience made for warm climates.
