The Blue Weber Agave plant is a key element in imparting that unique, complex flavor that threads through all the expressions of Tequila Herradura. The use of Blue Weber Agave from the volcanic lowlands surrounding Amatitàn imparts an herbaceous quality, adding earthy aromas and flavors to Herradura’s tequilas.
Leading
the Way
Casa Herradura was home to the first female production leader in the tequila industry. Master Distiller Teresa Lara López, now retired, elevated the craft of distilling tequila for 30 years, serving as Casa Herradura’s head of production since 2001.
